Kim is an Arizona native who moved to California in 2018 to accept a full-time music instructor position at Sierra College in Rocklin. Since then, she has been the musical director for The Addams Family (at Sierra College, for which she received an Elly nomination), Snoopy (also at Sierra), Frozen, Jr. (at McLaughlin Studios), and Fiddler on the Roof (at Stage Right Productions).

She also loves to perform and most recently appeared as Muriel here at Theatre in the Heights in The Fox on the Fairway. Her favorite roles from the past include Ruth in Blithe Spirit, Baroness Schrader in The Sound of Music, Prudence in Beyond Therapy, Sarah in Guys and Dolls, Arlene in Don’t Talk to the Actors, Julia in Lend Me a Tenor, and M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias.

She lives in Fair Oaks with her husband, Steve, and two little dogs – Millie and Molly.
