During his sophomore year, Mark entered a spelling bee to get out of class, won unexpectedly,
and had to represent his grade during Open House-where he eliminated two opponents on a single
word but then lost after misspelling "vociferous" (the irony!). As an adolescent he appeared
before numerous vice principals; As an adult he has appeared in a handful of shows including
And Then There Were None (Blore), The Play That Goes Wrong (Max/Cecil), Little Shop of Horrors (Orin; Mushnik),
Tony & Tina's Wedding (Tony), Willy Wonka (Mr. Bucket) and Spamalot (Patsy).
This is his first performance at Theater In The Heights. He dedicates this show to his 7th Grade
class at SJNDS (2006-07) who D-I-S-S-U-A-D-E-D him from further pursuing a teaching career…
