Cheri Fortin is delighted to be making her premier appearance with Theatre in the Heights.
She works as a full-time professor at Consumnes River College where she teaches a variety of theatre classes and
directs four campus productions each year. She received her MFA in Theatre from Arizona State University and has
worked as an actor, director and teaching artist for many regional theaters across the country!
Some of her favorite plays she has worked on include Salome, Blood Wedding, Romeo and Juliet, Chicago,
Midsummer Night’s Dream, and so many others. She has been working in theatre for the past 30 years! That’s a lot of plays!
She is most grateful to the director, Blake Flores, for trusting her with this gem of a role! And, she sends huge
thanks to her husband, Kent Fortin, for his unwavering support of her artistic interests and her two children,
Marley and Jackson, for their continuous inspiration!
