Love's Labour's Lost - Holofernes

Belles - Peggy Reece

Fran's acting career started with a bang! No, really! Her first onstage line was "BANG!" Recent credits include Marina in Seven at Winters Theatre Company, Mattie Fae Aiken in August: Osage County for TAAC, The Pink Panther Strikes Again at Sutter Street Theatre, Jessie in Prisoner of 2nd Avenue at Chautauqua, Ethel Banks in Barefoot in the Park (Elly nomination) at The Acting Company, Mrs. Lewis in the indy film, The Mendoza Line, and Mistress Lundie in Brigadoon. She holds an M.A. degree in Theatre Arts from HSU where she wrote and performed a solo show, The Rugby Coach, about growing up in Yorkshire, England. Fran is thrilled to be one of these wonderful fools for Theatre in The Heights' first season!

A community theatreholic, she's appeared in melodramas, dinner theatre, and Shakespeare. She's done everything from leading a fund drive raising over a million dollars, producing, directing, launching a newsletter, membership drives, parade floats, and press releases, to sweeping floors after the show. Later she founded her own repertory theatre company, Stagecraft, which inspired her to chuck it all and (better late than never) go back to college. She thinks she keeps her sanity by taking lovely little roles to relieve stress from her day job.
