James Caldie is an award winning composer, actor and recording artist. He is the composer/ lyricist
for 7 published musicals the most notable being GUV THE MUSICAL the longest running original musical
in Southwest U.S. history and winner of the Arizona Film, Theatre and Television award for best
composer/lyricist, best musical director and best musical. He has 7 nationally distributed CDs of his
original music. He has toured extensively both nationally and internationally as an actor, vocalist
and concert artist. Some of his acting roles include; The Emcee in Cabaret, Ned Weeks in The Normal Heart,
Ariel in The Tempest, Tobias in Sweeney Todd, Fancourt Babberly in Charley's Aunt and Mr. Barlock in the
award winning US premiere of Maggie Smith's Lettice and Lovage. He is grateful to Blake for giving him
this opportunity in spite of his disability and is happy to be back on the stage after a long hiatus.
