Janine has been performing in theatre off and on since she was 14 years old and singing for as long as she can remember. Originally from Los Angeles, Janine moved to central California as a 10 year old where she began her life with horses. She was the 1981 California High School Rodeo Association Queen and as an adult, a champion barrel racer, also a 10 time qualifier for the National Barrel Horse Association National Finals. Janine retired from racing about 7 years ago and now raises miniature donkeys on her 10 acre ranch in Foresthill.

Janine moved almost 3 years ago to Placer County from Sonoma County wine country. Her most recent performance was a soloist at The Rose Gala at the Roseville Theatre Arts Academy. She has also sang at The City Winery at the Napa Valley Opera House and is a regular soloist at the Jarvis Conservatory in Napa. Some of her favorite theatre roles include Grace Farrell in Annie, Stella May in the Elly nominated production of Come Back to the Five & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, Sister Robert Anne in Nunsense and Nunsense II, Blanch in Brighton Beach Memoirs, the Widow Corney in Oliver!, Mrs. Medlock in The Secret Garden, Alaura in City of Angels and Morticia in The Addams Family Musical.

Janine is a former member of the Screen Actors Guild and a member of the SAG Conservatory. She has experience working in film and television. She also works as a voice over artist in radio and television.

Janine stays busy off stage by managing Aquarius Pool Service that she owns with her husband Roy, who is her biggest fan!
