Jason Markiewitz has been acting on stage and screen since 2002 when he played Andrew
Makepeace Ladd III in R.A. Gurney’s “Love Letters” in Naples, Italy. He has appeared in 16 films and two major
commercials across the country including the award-nominated short films “Stunned” and “Up Late.”
Previous to his role as Sir Toby Belch in "Twelfth Night," he played William Gillette/Sherlock Holmes in
“The Game’s Afoot” and King Ferdinand in William Shakespeare’s “Love’s Labour’s Lost” all here at Theatre in the Heights.
He has truly enjoyed his time with Theatre in the Heights, has been blessed to work with three wonderful casts,
and gives special thanks to Blake Flores for his friendship, creative direction, and the confidence to cast him
in such incredible and challenging roles. Most of all, he thanks his family who endures his long rehearsal
schedule and supports him in his acting endeavors.
