Owen Udin, 20, first became interested in acting while an advanced art
student at Mesa Verde High School. His artwork included comics, animation,
cartoons, and pop culture, and was featured in the school’s art gallery. He
took three years of drama and theatre, performing in talent shows and
school plays, where he did improv and standup impressions, in addition to
other roles.
In 2016, Owen started taking lessons at the Actor’s Workshop of Sacramento,
under direction of Ed Claudio, and has starred in their annual Christmas
shows, one-act comedy festivals, and The Mayor Who Banned Christmas. He has
performed at the historic Wilkerson Theater and Three Penny Theatre. Owen
also plays guitar, and has performed with Imagine Music Instruction’s rock
band at concerts in Roseville, Citrus Heights, and Sacramento. He aspires
to become a professional actor and artist.
