Ryan Rubi is an actor, writer, and producer based in Sacramento. Last year, he finished his
premiere short film, “Breaking News,” a comedy he executive produced, wrote, and co-starred in.
Locally, Ryan has trained in acting, improv, and voiceover with mentors like Dennis Glasco,
Charlie Holliday, and Ray Nakamoto. He minored in theatre at Wichita State University.
When he’s not training in acting or voiceover, Ryan writes spec scripts. He has a witty sitcom
ready to be produced and a dramatic feature in the works.
Outside of entertainment, Ryan enjoys international travel to practice his French and Spanish.
Until his next trip, he looks forward to contributing to Northern California’s theatre and film
community or landing a long-shot pitch meeting with Judd Apatow.
