This 1960's French farce adapted for the English-speaking stage features self-styled Parisian
lothario Bernard (an American), who has Italian, German, and American fiancees, each beautiful airline
hostesses with frequent "layovers." He keeps "one up, one down and one pending" at all times, relying on
the published airline schedules to keep things straight, much to the dismay of his beleagured maid, Berthe,
who does her best to keep up with all the arrivals and departures.
When his old school chum Robert from Wisconsin arrives and decides that he wants to try out the plan himeself,
complications start flying fast and furious.
